Over the course of three weeks, the Honduras Rising Music School carried out an intensive pedagogical program in preparation for \u00ab\u00a0Chantons la France\u00a0\u00bb, a concert organized in partnership with the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise of San Pedro Sula .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nearly 100 children and young people from the rural communities of Taulab\u00e9, Siguatepeque, and San Jos\u00e9 de Comayagua participated in choir rehearsals and music classes, culminating in a full rehearsal of the repertoire they will perform at the concert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This preparation was enriched by the valuable volunteer work of Denissa Rivas, a member of Honduras Rising\u2019s Academic Council, who traveled from Rochester, New York, to teach classes, mentor the teaching staff, and conduct the choir throughout the rehearsal process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The collaboration between Honduras Rising, the Alliance Fran\u00e7aise de San Pedro Sula, and dedicated volunteers like Denissa makes it possible for children and youth from rural communities to access high-quality artistic and cultural experiences, strengthening both their musical education and their personal development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
